The centerpiece of this material narrative unfolds in the kitchen and dining transition, where custom arched iron doors frame the views to the lush exterior. Rather than traditional black steel, these structural arches are finished in a custom, hand-patinated bronze that lends an immediate sense of permanence and editorial depth. The glass-paned bronze portals catch the shifting Melbourne light throughout the day, filtering it across the chevron oak flooring and throwing soft, graphic shadows that turn the simple act of moving between spaces into a beautifully theatrical experience.
