Spanish Reverie is an intentional study in balancing historical romance with contemporary restraint. Designed for modern living, the residence sheds the weight of traditional Mediterranean architecture in favor of clean lines, soaring volumes, and an elevated, airy minimalism. The home acts as a sanctuary, where the warmth of sun-drenched European villas meets the sleek, functional sophistication required of a modern lifestyle. We treated marble not merely as a surface, but as functional art. Striking, heavily veined marble block pieces ground the kitchen and primary wet areas, offering a dramatic, organic contrast to the home's clean geometry. To counter the sleekness of the modern lines, the interiors are layered with rich, varied textures that invite touch. Soft, hand-applied plaster walls capture the shifting daylight, while deeply grained timbers, patinated metals and woven textiles create a subtle, lived-in depth.By stripping back the superfluous, we allowed the purity of the form and the integrity of the materials to take center stage, creating a home that feels both deeply grounded and effortlessly elevated.
